Our Core Activities

Prayer is the engine room for all we are and do.

We have established a healthy rhythm of prayer that links and supports the ministries and individuals across the network, as well as developing a culture that connects into the wider kingdom picture nationally and globally.

Prayer Connect Champions – Each church charity or ministry is asked to supply a 'Prayer Champion' who will share and receive prayer needs, be envisioned and equipped to pray and kept in the loop on specific prayer initiatives.

Twice a year we gather senior leaders of churches, ministries and charities along with their leadership teams for a time of envisioning, connection, input and development.

Connect is an opportunity to gather socially the night before the converge day, to eat together and enjoy relating with one another and have fun in an informal setting.

Converge is a more intentional time to gather and grow together, to catch vision and to come onto the same page before we are sent back to our different spheres of influence.

Every other year, we host a time away for those in senior leadership, whether that is in a church, charity or missional setting. We recognize that leadership can be challenging as well as rewarding and this is a valuable time for leaders to refuel, replenish, recharge and relate with one another.

Offering a source of strength and support to those in Senior Leadership, our Leadership Advances provide an opportunity to receive great input as well as prayer, rest and relationship.

MORE - MORE is our Bi-Annual Conference open to the Skylark International family and beyond. It’s a powerful time of encounter, featuring refueling times of worship and prayer as well as inspiring speakers, sessions and panel discussions.

BE - Our annual Women’s Conference. Held in March, BE gathers women from across the network and much further afield for a powerful time of community and connection.

New Wine United - A group from across Skylark International usually camp together at ‘United’ New Wine’s summer event each year. It’s great to be able to tap into something different and to build those relationships across churches. Camping is definitely a bonding experience!

DNA - A six week entry course into the network, designed to build and strengthen peer relationships and explore the Skylark International culture and distinctives in greater depth.

Leadership Huddles - Every other month our pastors and leaders meet in small online groups framed by a short leadership development resource, which is then followed by peer discussion and prayer. The purpose of huddles is to grow – in relationship, in leadership and in communication.

Kyria - Raising and releasing women in leadership as well as men is a core value of our network. Skylark International partners with Kyria, a network that exists to strengthen, advocate for and empower women leaders across all spheres and sectors.

Skylark International holds a variety of training events for churches, charities and individuals to tap into.

We also produce a wealth of resources to assist and support churches and charities in their mission and activity.

Family connect exists to support and encourage children, young people and families in their ongoing relationship with Jesus.

It aims to regularly lead and facilitate opportunities across the network which empower parents, carers, extended families and those working with children and young people to raise faith and connection with God and each other across the generations.
